When I think about man's fascination for art throughout history, it comes to my mind some verses in Genesis that describe God's creation. It has always fascinated me, in particular, the moment when God find himself contemplating what he had created, and being content about his creation.  That passage in the Bible exemplifies our innate desire to create. Perhaps the epytome of such mystery is the miracle of procreating, no wonder our deepest love for our children.  Hence, the act of creating fascinates us, it is in us in the same way that we can feel music, experience pain or fall in love. Creating takes place in all aspects of our life, definitely beyond the realm of the studio and beyond the disciplines considered artistic. We all are creative beings.
